Seven places (cities) in Tibet have achieved or basically achieved social zero

On September 1, at the 24th press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic in the Tibet Autonomous Region, Qu Da, deputy secretary-general of the Tibet Autonomous Region Government, gave a press conference. From 0:00 to 24:00 on August 31, there were 53 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in the region (including 20 in Lhasa, 10 in Shigatse, 17 in Qamdo, and 6 in Nagqu). There were 621 new cases of asymptomatic infections (including 260 in Lhasa, 165 in Shigatse, 2 in Shannan, 1 in Nyingchi, 2 in Qamdo, 120 in Nagqu, and 71 in Ali area). From 0:00 to 14:00 on September 1, there were 26 new confirmed cases of local new coronary pneumonia in the region (including 6 in Lhasa, 1 in Nyingchi, 13 in Qamdo, and 6 in Nagqu). There were 207 new cases of asymptomatic infections (including 96 in Lhasa, 13 in Shigatse, 2 in Qamdo, 79 in Nagqu, and 17 in Ngari). As of 24:00 on August 31, there were 477 high-risk areas and 149 medium-risk areas in the region. On August 31, there were 674 new cases of infection, all of which were found in the isolation control area. As of 24:00 on August 31, 406 people in the region had been cured and discharged, and 22,504 close contacts were released from centralized isolation and observation. At present, 60,083 people are under centralized quarantine and observation. Up to now, all seven places (cities) in the region have achieved or basically achieved social zero, and the epidemic prevention and control work has achieved phased results.
